“Six Gals, for Themselves” choreographed by Danielle Diniz | Photo: Jan La Salle

This class was originally scheduled for June 7th as a benefit for JCE, but in light of recent events, we decided to reschedule and donate 50% of the class fees we receive to the NAACP.

OPEN LEVEL CLASS
Sunday, June 28th, 12:00-1:15 (EDT)

This theater jazz class will include a high intensity strength and stretch warm-up followed by a technical, fast-moving combination with modifications offered for space and level needs. We are thrilled that Danielle, a JCE Junior Board Member, is giving this class on our behalf!

Danielle was a choreographer for DanceBreak 2020 and has recently been commissioned to create new ballets for Columbia Ballet Collaborative and a virtual solo project for Avant Chamber Ballet. Her work has been shown in the JCE Jazz Dance Project, Stars of American Ballet rep, New York Choreographers’ Forum, Locally Grown Dance Festival, Nebula Dance Festival, the Steps Beyond Foundation performance lab and the Higher Ground Festival. She also choreographed the 2017 AEA showing of the Vaudevillian musical “On the Air.”

She has taught, and continues to teach, at NYSSSA, MYB, AMDA, Dance Open (St. Petersburg, Russia), Peridance and studios around the New York area.
