JCE is thrilled that JCE Jazz Dance Project choreographer Teresa Perez Ceccon is teaching this benefit class! Te is a much loved and highly respected teacher of Simonson Technique, so now is your chance to take a wonderful class and support our dedication to jazz dance during this difficult time.

Teresa (Te) Perez Ceccon has been a dance teacher and artist in New York City for over 20 years. A native New Yorker, Te earned a BA in Theater/Dance from Queens College. She has danced works by a variety of highly regarded choreographers as well as her own and has performed in many New York City venues with several independent dance companies. As a protege of master teacher Lynn Simonson, she is a seasoned educator of the Simonson technique working in NYC studios and colleges, including Gina Gibney Dance Center and Centenary University in Hackettstown, NJ. She also runs workshops in Europe, Canada and South America.
